The CAS ruled in favor of Yvette Félix, annulling FIFA’s decision to sanction her for an alleged violation of Article 23 of the FIFA Code of Ethics. The Panel found that FIFA had not properly notified Félix of the proceedings, that the evidence presented did not meet the required standard of proof and that the sanction imposed was disproportionate. As a result, the five-year ban and CHF 10,000 fine imposed on Félix were lifted.
