A waiver of training compensation may be valid where it is not contrary to law, public policy or good morals, is made by a person with authority, is expressed in clear language, and is issued by the club holding the relevant right. Only that club’s entitlement is affected, and a valid waiver may require the FIFA allocation statement to be amended accordingly.

The Senegalese player Modou Alpha Ndiaye (the Player), born on 3 March 2005, trained at Cheman des Parcelles Assainies (CPA) and subsequently with the Senegalese club Noliane Football Club (Noliane). He was transferred to the Spanish club Club Deportivo Leganés, S.A.D. (Leganés) on 23 February 2024.
