What happened?

On 31 March 2018, the Bundesliga match between Schalke 04 and SC Freiburg took place.

After a penalty by which Schalke scored the 1-0 in the 63rd minute, Nils Petersen, captain of SC Freiburg, loudly complained towards the referee for awarding the penalty to Schalke, but then went to the centre of the pitch in order to continue the match with a kick-off. The referee followed him, showing a yellow card, but only...
