Within the debate that followed the “Super League issue”, many voices have risen among the football stakeholders calling for urgent measures to prevent the occurrence of any further menaces for organized football. Given that the Super League project saw the involvement of three Italian clubs, the Executive Board of the Italian Football Association (FIGC) immediately moved from words to action, introducing some pieces of regulation directed to the roots of the clubs’ participation in football competitions: their status of member of the federation.
