The French Professional Football League obtains the blocking of streaming sites illegally broadcasting Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 matches

As the holder of the exclusive audiovisual exploitation rights of the Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 championships, the French Professional Football League (LFP) deplored the proliferation of streaming sites broadcasting live, almost systematically, the matches of the two competitions free of charge. Noting the existence of serious and repeated infringements of LFP’s rights, the interim relief judge of the Paris Court of Justice ordered ten Internet service providers to block access by their subscribers to the identified sites until the end of the competition.
