The 2027 edition of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (FIFA RSTP) was approved unanimously by the Bureau of the FIFA Council on 10 June 2026. This revised RSTP represents a significant advancement in the evolution of the global transfer system and will come into force on 1 January 2027. In order to smooth the transition, FIFA has organized a special online edition of the FIFA Football Legal Annual Review (FLAR) to educate the football family on these changes.
