This case was finally resolved by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on 15 January 2014. It attracted a lot of media attention in Russia and it is reported that it is the reason why Mr. Sergey Pryadkin, currently Vice-President of the Football Union of Russia (FUR) and President of the Russian Football Premier League, did not win the latter presidential elections in FUR.
