On 8 June 2026, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) partially upheld an appeal filed by Bolivian footballer Boris Céspedes against a FIFA decision regarding an Anti-Doping Rule Violation. As a result of the CAS award, Mr. Céspedes’s suspension was reduced from two years to 15 months, with credit granted for the provisional suspension already served.
Mr. Céspedes, who previously played for Swiss Super League club Yverdon-Sport FC, represents Bolivia and the Bolivian Football Federation (FBF) internationally.
