CAS Dismissed the Romanian FA’s Appeal in a UEFA Nations League Game


On 13 February 2025, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) announced it had dismissed an appeal submitted by the Romanian Football Federation (RFF) concerning UEFA sanctions. This decision relates to a UEFA Nations League match against Kosovo that occurred on 16 November 2024. The Court concluded that the sanctions against the RFF are appropriate and not disproportionate.
