Dr. Daniel Rietiker is a senior lawyer at the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) who is a distinguished expert and author of this excellent book in the field of sports and human rights. In parallel, he serves as a part-time lecturer in public international law at the University of Lausanne (Lausanne, Switzerland) and an Adjunct Professor at Suffolk University Law School (Boston, the United States). He has already published several academic articles on sports and human rights, demonstrating his deep understanding and interest in this complex issue.[1]
