Valencia Fans Face Criminal Liability after Racist Incidents Involving Vinícius Jr.


On 10 June 2024, the first conviction for racist insults that occurred inside a stadium in Spain was handed down as a result of a complaint filed by LaLiga. The sentence was a result of racist chants against Vinicius Jr. on 21 May 2023 at Mestalla by three individuals.
