The UNFP Joins the “Justice for Players” Class Action


The French professional footballers’ union (UNFP) has announced that it is joining the Dutch foundation “Justice for Players” in a collective legal action aimed at reforming FIFA’s transfer regulations and securing compensation for players affected by rules found incompatible with EU Law. This marks a new step in the ongoing legal and institutional debate over the regulation of the professional football labour market.
