Repeated non-payment of salary constitutes a serious breach giving the player just cause to terminate the contract under Article 14 RSTP. A contractual clause allowing immediate termination after a grace period prevails over the general mechanism of the RSTP. An exclusion of mitigation is valid when freely agreed upon, and compensation for breach must reflect the full residual value of the contract, with interest accruing from the date of termination.
