Iranian Drama

The recent death of a football fan, a woman, called Sahar Khodayari, who dressed as a man in order to be allowed to enter a stadium for the match of her beloved team Esthegal FC against Al Ain, in the AFC Champions League, is the final drop that could end the ban of women in Iranian stadia.

The poor Sahar died after setting fire to herself and thus was self-immolated, passing away at the hospital where they could not help her. That a woman dies due to her love for football is a shame and could not be tolerated.
